Lutheran World Relief Shipment
On Friday, October 2, 2015, the people ot St. John's shipped to the Lutheran World Relief warehouse more than 300 quilts, more than 300 personal care kits, and large quantities of school kits, fabric kits, and baby care kits, along with more than 800 pounds of soap. These represent the past year's work of our quilters and gifts from member of our congregation. LWR will distribute these to the needy throughout the world. At our services on the weekend of September 26 & 27, the sanctuary was decorated (below) with some of the quilts.
